I stupidly acquired a conviction for being drunk in charge of (walking with) a moped early on in medical school, and was told at the time by (inexperienced) solicitors that it might not matter, so have tried to forget about it entirely. Applications for the F1/F2 years are due in October. What does this mean realistically for getting jobs in the next few years, and does it make me substantially less competitive from thereon?
